Facilities Maintenance Technician

Onyx Behavioral Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our vital team. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation and safety of our facility through proactive maintenance and efficient repair tasks. We are looking for an ideal candidate who demonstrates strong repair knowledge and a commitment to maintaining a superior environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Addressing a diverse range of minor repairs, including electrical, plumbing, drywall, doors, and fixtures.

• Conducting regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues or areas requiring maintenance and repair.

• Performing routine maintenance and repair on machinery, mechanical equipment, and building systems to ensure optimal functionality.

• Ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations and promptly implementing necessary corrective measures.

• Accurately tracking inventory and ordering essential supplies and materials required for maintenance and repair operations.

• Meticulously keeping records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory levels.

• Collaborating effectively with other personnel, external contractors, and facility managers to resolve issues and guarantee smooth operational flow.

• Executing outdoor groundskeeping tasks to maintain the facility's exterior appearance.

• Demonstrating versatility and willingness to perform additional general maintenance duties as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience of 2+ years in a maintenance or facilities role, demonstrating a strong track record.
• Solid experience in general residential repair work, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, coupled with the ability to work effectively and independently.
• A strong willingness to continuously learn new skills and adapt to evolving job requirements and technologies.
