Job Description

About Promofect
Promofect is a rapidly expanding leader in branded merchandise, dedicated to providing exceptional custom apparel and promotional products nationwide. From Fortune 500 companies to the brave men and women of fire departments, EMS teams, and police departments, we are renowned for our swift, dependable service and uncompromising quality, backed by our robust in-house production and expedited capabilities.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to take full ownership of and significantly expand our First Responder vertical – a truly impactful and high-growth segment that is central to our mission.

About the Role
As an Account Executive for our First Responder Division, you will be the pivotal liaison between Promofect and essential fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies. You will be instrumental in cultivating lasting relationships, expertly managing existing accounts for repeat business, and strategically identifying and developing new partnerships with departments nationwide.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is highly personable, proactively driven, and deeply motivated to support and empower those who dedicate their lives to serving our communities.

You Will:

  • Strategically manage and expand a dedicated portfolio of first responder accounts, driving significant growth within this vital sector.
  • Proactively engage with warm leads and nurture relationships with past customers, focusing on reactivation and sustained growth.
  • Initiate and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging diverse prospecting channels, including targeted phone outreach, strategic social media engagement, referral networks, and industry trade shows.
  • Master the end-to-end sales cycle: from crafting compelling quotes and presenting innovative mockups to seamlessly guiding customers through the entire ordering process.
  • Continuously research and stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in department-specific apparel and gear, positioning yourself as an industry expert.
  • Forge enduring, trust-based partnerships with your accounts, establishing yourself as their indispensable, preferred representative for all branded merchandise needs.
  • Utilize cutting-edge CRM and sales enablement platforms such as HubSpot, Printavo, and Apollo to optimize organization, streamline workflows, and ensure consistent, effective outreach.

You Are:

  • A confident and articulate communicator, adept at building rapport and fostering strong relationships across all platforms: phone, email, and in-person.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous approach to follow-up, ensuring no detail is overlooked and commitments are consistently met.
  • Eager to deeply understand and immerse yourself in the unique culture, operational needs, and procurement processes of first responder departments.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven ability to drive results and transform objectives into achievements.
  • Bringing 2-5 years of progressive sales experience, ideally encompassing both strategic account management and successful outbound sales initiatives.
  • Possessing valuable personal or professional affiliations within the fire, EMS, or law enforcement communities is a significant advantage.
  • Prepared to thrive in a full-time, in-office environment at our Mahwah, NJ headquarters.

Why This Role Matters
This role is profoundly significant to Promofect’s identity and mission. Our commitment to first responders runs deep; they have entrusted us with their essential gear, apparel, and departmental merchandise for years. You will be empowered to leverage this robust foundation and strategically expand it into a substantially larger, high-impact division within our company.

What We Offer:

  • Highly competitive compensation structure with uncapped commission potential, rewarding your drive and success.
  • Consistent weekly payroll, ensuring financial stability and peace of mind.
  • Comprehensive in-house team support, providing seamless assistance from initial quoting through to final production and delivery.
  • A collaborative and close-knit company culture, fostering a supportive environment with significant opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • The unique opportunity to make a tangible and meaningful impact within a deeply mission-driven segment, directly supporting our nation's heroes.
